Ghana winger, Osman Bukari has won his second double with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade after starring in the Cup final against Vojvodina.

The 25-year-old added the Serbian Cup to the league title won a fortnight ago to make it back-to-back doubles since moving to the club.

Bukari started and saw 75 minutes of action as Red Star Belgrade defeated Vojvodina 2-1 in the final of the competition on Tuesday, May 21.

The Serbian champions got off to a bright start after Mirko Ivanic opened the scoring after 37 minutes. Ivanic finished off a brilliant move after connecting to a Cherif Ndiaye pass.

Uros Spajic doubled the lead in the 65th minute after smashing home from an In-Beom Hwang assist.

However, Vojvodina pulled one back late in the game through Aleksa Vukanovic.

Bukari was replaced in the 74th minute by Gabonese forward Guelor Kanga, as reported by Sofascore.

The Ghana international has been an integral part of the team since joining them from KAA Gent in the summer of 2022.

The Black Stars forward scored ten goals across all competitions for Red Star Belgrade this season, per Transfermarkt.

Bukari wins Serbian league with Red Star

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian winger, Osman Bukari added another league title to his trophy cabinet after starring in Red Star Belgrade's 2023/24 season triumph.

With four games remaining, the Serbian giants were confirmed champions after beating Backa Topola on Thursday night.

It was Bukari's second league title in his second campaign with the Reds, having already won the domestic treble with Red Star last season.

Bukari scores first UCL goal against City

Sports Brief also reported that Osman Bukari netted his first-ever goal in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League after opening the scoring in the match against Manchester City at the Etihad last September.

The Black Stars forward broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time after beating the offside trap to connect to Mirko Ivanic's pass.

Bukari helped Red Star Belgrade reach the group stage following a string of excellent performances in the qualifiers.
