A section of fans has mocked Arsenal after a video emerged of the club rehearsing for a potential Premier League trophy presentation at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are firmly in the title race ahead of Sunday, May 19, the final day of the season, when they play Everton.

Mikel Arteta's charges have enjoyed an incredible season, with the side picking up 27 wins in 37 games, leaving them sitting second with 86 points.

Despite Manchester City having an edge in the title race, the North Londoners still have a chance of lifting the title.

Metro UK reports that given this possibility, Arsenal have had to prepare for such an occasion and have been filmed rehearsing a trophy presentation at the Emirates.

In the clip, club officials can be seen doing a mock celebration by walking onto a platform where an identical Premier League trophy has been placed.

Interestingly, they go on to shake hands and pretend to put on winners' medals as the stadium announcer reads out players’ names.

The video, which is now doing rounds on social media, has sparked mixed reactions, with a section of fans mocking Arsenal.
