Paris Saint-German superstar, Kylian Mbappe, could become Real Madrid's highest-paid player upon his rumoured arrival at the club next month.
The 25-year-old has taken a stride closer to joining Los Blancos after he confirmed his intention to depart Parc des Princes upon the expiration of his contract.
The France captain has chosen not to renew his contract with the Parisians and will instead depart for the 14-time European champions on a free transfer.
The confirmation of his arrival in Spain is not expected to come until after Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on June 1.

Mbappe's salary at Real Madrid
According to reports from French outlet, RMC Sport, discussions are currently underway regarding the specifics of Mbappe's contract, with a proposed five-year deal on offer in Madrid.
The Frenchman's representatives are said to be advocating for a larger portion of image rights than what Real Madrid would typically offer, in addition to a substantial salary package.
He is expected to receive a basic annual salary exceeding €21 million, positioning him just ahead of Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham as the club's highest earner for the upcoming season.
Although considerably less than what Mbappe earned at PSG, he would still become the highest-paid player at Madrid, as no one in the Santiago Bernabeu dressing room currently earns over €11 million, Tribuna cited.
According to Sportsbible, the 2018 World Cup winner has been earning a staggering £171 million-a-year salary with the Parisians but his new salary is still a massive sum.
