The French superstar formally declared his decision not to extend his contract with PSG last week, concluding his seven-season tenure in Paris.

"A page is turning. A chapter in my life is closing," Mbappe said in his acceptance speech after winning a fifth Ligue 1 Player of the Year prize, as quoted by GFFN.

He also offered special praise to AS Monaco and his soon-to-be former club, PSG, acknowledging the significant roles both clubs have played in shaping his career.

"I’ll leave with my head held high, having done everything I could, but I couldn’t have done it without the clubs that I played for, firstly AS Monaco and then, of course, PSG... I’m going to miss it."

Hinting at his future without revealing the club's name, Mbappe expressed excitement about the upcoming opportunity at his next destination.
