Mbappe has long been a target for Los Blancos, with the Spanish giants previously coming close to securing his signature in 2022.

However, the French superstar opted to extend his contract with PSG at that time.

Now, it seems that Madrid is on the verge of finally acquiring the 25-year-old, especially after his decision to leave Paris following seven successful seasons, according to GOAL.

In the midst of ongoing speculation regarding Kylian's potential move to the Spanish capital, head coach Ancelotti has shared his perspective on the matter.

“Kylian Mbappe? I’m not thinking about that topic at the moment,” the venerable tactician remarked, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

He remained dismissive of the topic, firmly stating that his focus is directed towards other pressing matters as the season approaches its conclusion.

“We have more important things to focus on right now.”

In the interim Don Carlo guided an almost second-stringed side to a handsome 4-0 win against the already-relegated Granada on Saturday, May 11, per Eurosport.

What's next for Mbappe after announcing PSG exit?

Although the 25-year-old has not disclosed his next destination, he revealed that PSG's Ligue 1 clash against Toulouse at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, May 12, will mark his final home game for the club.

Additionally, barring any unforeseen circumstances, his last appearance will be in the Coupe de France final against Olympique Lyon on May 25.

iShowSpeed insists Mbappe is not joining Madrid

Meanwhile, Sports Brief highlighted the scepticism voiced by Cristiano Ronaldo superfan, Darren Jason Watkins Jr, famously known as iShowSpeed, regarding Mbappe's rumoured move to Real Madrid.

The American YouTuber, recognised for his staunch allegiance to CR7, expressed doubts about Mbappe's reported transfer after his departure from PSG was announced.

Speed presented a divergent perspective, leveraging his own 'Here We Go' transfer news platform to challenge Fabrizio Romano's assertions about Mbappe's potential summer transfer to Madrid.
