West Ham United youngster, George Earthy, has praised Mohammed Kudus for assisting his first-ever English Premier League goal.
The 19-year-old sealed victory for the Hammers in their 3-1 victory over Luton Town after connecting to a Kudus delivery at the London Olympic Stadium on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Kudus went past two Luton defenders before spotting Earthy, who was quick in the box to reach a cross from the Ghanaian.
"I was absolutely buzzing to be out there again in front of the fans," Earthy said as he narrated his time on the pitch after the match, as spotted on social media. "Couldn't wait to be back on the ball. Here we are breaking. I am just hoping the ball gets back to me," he continued.

"Because obviously we are in the box, and I want to score. Mo (Kudus) is dribbling. Mo is so good at dribbling, so I knew he was going to go past them and then instinctively get in front of the defenders and score. Yes, pure emotion," added the youngster.
Earthy was making his second Premier League appearance after replacing Michail Antonio in the second half of the game. He was also named the club's Young Player of the Season.
“I don’t think today could have gone much better for me. Coming on and getting the reception I did from the fans and then scoring my first goal was like a dream. I still don’t think it’s all real, to be honest!" he said.
Kudus increased his goal contribution this season with an additional assist, making it 7 goals and six assists in the English league, per Transfermarkt.
