All good things must come to an end.

Jurgen Klopp thanked Liverpool's away supporters for the final time on Monday after the Reds' Premier League showdown with Aston Villa.

The German manager was visibly emotional as he paid tribute to the Reds fans, whom he has considered family since joining the club in 2015.

Klopp thanks Liverpool fans at Villa Park

In the viral clip, Klopp was seen putting his hands on his chest before waving goodbye to Liverpool's travelling supporters.

He announced in January that he will step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the season.

Unfortunately for Klopp and the away supporters, the Reds weren't able to secure the victory at Villa Park despite taking a 3-1 lead into the closing stages of the second half.

An Emi Martinez own goal in the second minute plus strikes from Cody Gakpo and Jarell Amorin Quansah gave the Reds the advantage.

Villa launches furious fightback to earn draw

Jhon Duran sent Aston Villa fans into a frenzy when he scored a late brace in a three-minute span to salvage a 3-3 draw for the hosts, per Yahoo.

The substitute pulled a goal back in the 85th minute when his low shot beat Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson. He then scored the equaliser in the 88th minute, when Diaby's shot deflected in off him.

It has been a disappointing end to the season for the Reds, who saw their Premier League title challenge fizzle out.

They dropped points in five out of their last seven league matches, recording three draws and two losses during that period.

Martinez sets record with another own goal

Sports Brief recently reported on Emiliano Martinez setting an unwanted record in the game against Liverpool.

The Aston Villa goalkeeper has conceded three own goals in his Premier League career.

That's the most own goals conceded by a goalkeeper in the history of the league.
