Finidi George continues his efforts to assemble his backroom staff following his appointment as coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The former Real Betis forward, who took over as manager of the Nigerian team on April 29, was announced as coach without any backroom staff.

True to their word, the manager has been allowed to create a shortlist of candidates he would like to work with as assistants and a report has now surfaced detailing the identities of the individuals on Finidi's shortlist.

According to a report from OwnGoalNigeria, coach Finidi's shortlist includes three foreigners who are expected to serve as his match analyst, first assistant coach, and physical trainer.
The list also features former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Abiodun Baruwa, who is expected to work as the goalkeeper trainer, and wraps up with the inclusion of former Nigeria forward, Daniel Amokachi, who is expected to be one of his second assistant coaches.
