Arsenal and Inter Milan are reportedly set to enter a transfer battle for Bologna's young striker Joshua Zirkzee who has caught the attention of the European heavyweights with his impressive performances.
The Dutch striker, with Nigerian roots, has tremendously improved since moving to Italy from Bayern Munich in 2022, scoring 11 goals and adding five assists in 32 Serie A appearances for Bologna this season.
According to The Hard Tackle, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are front-runners in the race for the signature of Bologna attacking sensation Zirkzee who is reportedly valued at over €50 million.
The Gunners are looking to sanction the departure of Gabriel Jesus and replace him with a new number nine and the 22-year-old is among the top targets being monitored by the London club.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan vice-president, Javier Zanetti, has confirmed that the Serie A champions will compete with Arsenal for Bologna forward Zirkzee this summer, Metro UK reports.
It is understood that Bologna will demand a €60 million fee for the 22-year-old forward, who is on the verge of qualifying the club for the Champions League next season after his goal contributions.
Zanetti hopes to create a dynamic attacking trio next season and wants to pair Zirkzee alongside Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez as a front-three to give Inter Milan more potency in attack.
