Ghanaian lower-tier side, KofCity FC welcomed representatives from Dutch football club AZ Alkmaar during their visit to Ghana this week.

The visit aimed to strengthen ties between the two clubs and explore potential collaborations in youth development, talent exchange, and training methodologies.

The AZ Alkmaar delegation, led by Francisco Rubio Fernandez, toured KofCity FC's facilities, met with club officials, and donated jerseys to the Konko-based club.

Discussions focused on sharing best practices and enhancing opportunities for young Ghanaian talents to gain exposure in European football.

Francisco Rubio Fernandez expressed enthusiasm about the visit, highlighting the potential benefits for both clubs.

"This partnership could open doors for our players and contribute significantly to the growth of football in our region," he said.

The visit marks a promising step towards fostering international relationships and developing football talent in Ghana.

KofCity FC Seal Partnership Deal With Nasco

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that KofCity FC have secured a partnership agreement with electronics company NASCO.

As part of the collaboration, players from the club stand to receive mobile phones and other electronic devices for achievements such as the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards.

Situated in Konko in the Eastern Region of Ghana, KofCity FC has been gearing up for the lower division leagues by engaging in friendly matches against prominent teams in the country.
