Up-and-coming lower-tier football club KofCity FC have secured a partnership agreement with electronics company NASCO.

As part of the collaboration, players from the club stand to receive mobile phones and other electronic devices for achievements such as the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards.

Situated in Konko in the Eastern Region of Ghana, KofCity FC has been gearing up for the lower division leagues by engaging in friendly matches against prominent teams in the country.

With a focus on nurturing young talents for the international stage, the club harbours ambitions of contributing to the development of emerging football stars.

NASCO has actively participated in diverse sports initiatives and maintains a comparable program with the Ghana Football Association.

In alignment with this collaboration, outstanding performers receive recognition and rewards following each game.

Kotoko release new classy jersey

Meanwhile, Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have left tongues wagging on social media with the release of their new jerseys ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season.

The former Ghana Premier League champions unveiled their home and away kits for the new campaign on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday night.

The jerseys were manufactured by German-based The Hope Brand, with the Porcupine Warriors wearing an all-red uniform for home games and all-white with a touch of red when playing away,

Hearts beat Kotoko to win President Cup

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Accra Hearts of Oak have been crowned the President Cup champions after defeating rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Konadu Yiadom's second-half header ensured the Phobians also picked up all three points from the game, which also doubled as a Ghana league match.

With Ghana's President, Nana Akufo-Addo in attendance, the two giants of Ghanaian football delivered a spectacle for fans at the Accra Sports Stadium.
