Nicolas Jackson’s first season with Chelsea might not have gone as planned for the Senegalese forward but he has vowed to keep improving following his arrival from Villareal last summer.
The 22-year-old forward was back on the scoresheet for the Blues as they pushed for European qualification as they defeated London rivals 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, May 2.
Jackson, who has faced heavy criticism from fans and pundits for his wastefulness in front of goal, has now vowed to improve as he assured fans the goal will come, Sky Sports reports.
"I think I should have scored more with the chances I missed. Even if I scored 10 or 15, the most important thing is for the team to be as high as possible and make the fans happy. Then the goals will come.

"I'm trying to improve every day. I miss a lot but I'm trying to create more chances and score more. Hopefully next year it's going to be better."
Jackson has scored 11 Premier League goals since arriving at Chelsea for £32m from Villarreal last summer.
