Erik ten Hag just can't catch a break.

Fans took to social media to blast the under-fire Manchester United boss after two of his former players made waves with their new teams on Wednesday night.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho produced dazzling displays in the King's Cup and Champions League, respectively, fueling the notion that ten Hag got it wrong with his treatment of the two stars at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag blasted for Sancho, Ronaldo treatment

Janty praised Ronaldo and Sancho for their performances for Al-Nassr and Borussia Dortmund on X, writing that, 'Ten Hag was the problem'.

Dr Yash wrote that ten Hag was always the problem, posting pictures of Ronaldo and Sancho's ratings in their King's Cup and Champions League matches on Wednesday.

Ronaldo, Sancho produce dazzling displays

Ronaldo helped Al-Nassr reach the finals of the King's Cup for the first time since 2020, scoring a brace in their semis clash against Al-Khaleej.

The Portuguese forward made a triumphant return from a suspension after being sent off against Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League last month, per Sporting News.

He opened the scoring in the 17th minute after some careless play from Al-Khaleej, taking full advantage of that mistake to hit a fantastic left-footed shot from outside the box to give Al-Nassr a 1-0 lead.

He doubled his tally in the 57th minute, scoring a close-range strike at the far post.

Sancho also impressed in Dortmund's 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their semi-final.

He won 13 duels, completed 12 dribbles, and created three chances against the French giants. He also had an 88% pass accuracy, per Pubity.

Sancho makes history in Dortmund win

Sports Brief also recently reported on Sancho setting an outrageous stat in the first leg against PSG.

He recorded the most successful dribbles completed by a player in the Champions League this season.

Dortmund head into Paris for the second leg with a 1-0 aggregate lead thanks to Sancho's performance.
