English Premier League side, Brentford have announced the signing of talented Nigerian defender, Benjamin Fredrick, on a permanent deal.
The Nigeria U20 star arrived in West London last summer, joining the club on loan from a Moses Simon-owned football club, Simoiben FC.
Fredrick impressed the technical handlers of Brentford despite featuring for the B team, coached by Neil MacFarlane.
The centre-back has signed a four-year deal with the option of a further year, as confirmed by Brentford on their official website.

“Signing permanently for Brentford is a great moment for me and my family and I want to thank everyone who started this journey with me," said the Nigerian.
“Neil and the rest of the coaching team have been very patient and supportive throughout this season, and they have helped me become a stronger more confident player in the process.
"I want to repay the club's trust in me by continuing to do my best and pushing to even greater heights.”
The Bees fended off interest from other top clubs in Europe to ensure Fredrick stays beyond his loan deal, as reported by Punch NG.
During his loan spell, Fredrick was on the bench for the Premier League games against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs. He was also a member of the squad for the FA Cup third-round matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
