Andre Ayew continued his goal-scoring run against French giants Paris Saint-Germain following his return to the Parc des Princes with Le Havre.

The Ghana captain scored as Le Havre held the French champions to a thrilling 3-3 draw and delayed their league triumph.

Ayew, who previously played for Lorient and Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1, netted for the fifth time against PSG.

According to Ligue 1, the former Swansea City star has scored five times and delivered two assists against the UEFA Champions League semi-finalist.

Ayew returned to France in November 2023 after six months without a club following his departure from Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, in an exciting encounter on Saturday night, Christopher Operi opened the scoring for the visitors but Bradley Bracola levelled for PSG moments later.

Ayew gave Le Havre the lead before half-time after firing home from inside the box. Abdoulaye Toure extended the advantage after the break from the spot.

However, the host produced a strong comeback after Achraf Hakimi pulled one back with 12 minutes remaining.

Late in injury time Goncalo Ramos salvaged a point for PSG.

"I have been at OM since then, this part of the stadium, the Auteuil corner, they have always been on my side, it's nothing new. So there you go, it was nothing special but it's always nice, a great, great pleasure to score against PSG when we are from Marseille," he said in a post-match interview.

Inkoom warns against dropping Ayew

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Ghana defender, Samuel Inkoom insists veteran players like Andre Ayew should be kept in the Black Stars team to guide the young ones.

There has been increasing pressure for Ayew to be dropped from the Ghana squad following a series of underwhelming performances for the national team.

Ayew has been part of the Black Stars since 2008 and became one of only three players to appear at eight Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
