Jurgen Klopp has finally given his verdict on Arne Slot potentially becoming Liverpool’s next manager.
Reports as of Thursday, April 25, claim the Reds are in talks with the Dutch giants to hire Slot as Klopp’s successor as the German prepares to leave Anfield after a nine-year stint.
Slot is a surprise target for many fans, who believed Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim was a strong contender.
The Dutchman also made his intentions of taking over at the Anfield dugout clear, telling reporters in the Netherlands he would jump at the chance to manage the Merseyside club.

What Klopp said about Slot
Ahead of Liverpool’s next Premier League game against West Ham, Klopp was asked to comment about the prospect of Slot being his predecessor.
“I’m not involved, club-wise,” he said, as quoted on SPORTbible.
“I would like a lot that if Arne is the one he wants to take the job. I like his team's style, all I hear about him as a guy — good coach”.
He added: “I’d tell him this is the best job in the world. Best club in the world, best people,"

As it stands, there are just three games remaining in Jurgen Klopp’s tenure as Liverpool boss.
Their next game is a crunch clash against West Ham, which will be followed by a home game against Liverpool on Sunday, May 5; the German’s final game at Anfield.
