Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea, has broken silence over his football future after almost a year in the cold.
After a twelve-year stint at United, de Gea left United last summer as a free agent upon the expiry of his contract with the Red Devils.
The shostopper is said to have agreed to negotiate a contract extension and stay at the club, but officials pulled out of the deal before the ink was put to paper.
A return to football was thought to be on the horizon last summer, with a move to the Saudi Pro League mooted.

The 33-year-old was also linked with a possible move to Inter Milan to replace Andre Onana, who took his position at Old Trafford, while Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest, were also said to be keen.
However, none of the moves materialised, leaving the Spaniard without a club for almost a year.

The Spanish man, who has been doing more solo training sessions since last summer, took to his Instagram to update his fans on his next move.
In his update, the experienced shot-stopper hinted at a possible return between the sticks.
"I'll be back," de Gea captioned his post.
His update came at a time when he has been linked with a free transfer to La Liga side Real Betis.
