Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has picked his greatest-ever Premier League starting XI.

The Spaniard spent close to 14 successful years in the English topflight across two stints with the London club.

His first spell in the division was with the Gunners between 2003 and 2011 before he left for Barcelona.

The 36-year-old made more than 200 appearances for the north Londoners, scoring 35 goals in the process.

After four years in La Liga with Barcelona, Fabregas sealed a sensational return to the EPL with Chelsea, whom he played until 2019 when he left for Monaco.

Owing to his experience in the Premier League, the ex-midfielder has had the honour of playing with and against some of the finest players in the division.

His lineup featured both former and current players, with a number of familiar faces making the cut.

Per GiveMeSport, Fabregas opted for David Seaman between the sticks, with a back four of Ashley Cole, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, and Kyle Walker.

However, in midfield, he was torn between Manchester City legends Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva, with Patrick Vieira and Steven Gerrard all featuring.

He overlooked Wayne Rooney in attack, picking Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, and Thierry Henry.
