The Englishman skippered Chelsea to five EPL titles, keeping an impressive 214 clean sheets in 492 appearances.

His successful career recently saw him inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, alongside Manchester United and Newcastle hero Andy Cole.

However, despite his otherwise spectacular journey, Terry recently admitted that there are players he 'feared' facing.

Terry names his toughest opponents

Speaking after his latest milestone, the decorated former defender picked out the four toughest players he ever encountered on the pitch.

Unsurprisingly, Terry's list included Arsenal and United legends.

"Thierry Henry was the best I came up against, the one I feared the most," he conceded after his recent induction.
"Next has to be Wayne Rooney. He was a top, top player and what he achieved was incredible.
"I’d also say Sergio Aguero or Harry Kane were difficult to come up against," he added.

Terry came up against Henry on 14 occasions, winning only four times, with the Frenchman scoring five goals past him.
