Havertz, who left the Blues for the Gunners last summer, scored his first goal of the evening after receiving a superb pass from Martin Odegaard.

Skillfully holding off Marc Cucurella, the German calmly slotted the ball into the net, per the BBC.

With a celebratory spin, he acknowledged the enthusiastic home crowd.

Although Chelsea credited the scorers for the first and second goals on X, they notably left out Havertz's name after his goals.

"Goal for the Gunners," the club wrote on social media. For his second goal, they wrote: "Goal to Arsenal."

How Arsenal thrashed Chelsea

Sports Brief reported that Havertz and Ben White both netted twice as Arsenal dominated Chelsea 5-0 on Tuesday, taking the lead in the Premier League title chase and intensifying pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City.

Trossard also found the net for the Gunners, who now sit three points ahead of Liverpool and four ahead of Manchester City.

However, the title race's outcome still depends on City's performance, as they have two games in hand. Meanwhile, Liverpool, with one game less than Arsenal, are set to face Everton in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday.

Haverts celebrates after scoring against Chelsea

Sports Brief also reported that Havertz celebrated wildly after scoring in Arsenal's demolition exercise against Chelsea.

With his brace against Mauricio Pochettino's men, the 24-year-old became the first former Chelsea star to score twice against the Stamford Bridge outfit.
