Imagine Kevin de Bruyne playing in the Saudi Pro League.
This is a real possibility, according to renowned journalist Rudy Galetti, who has claimed Al Nassr are ready to reignite interest in De Bruyne in the near future.
Al Nassr have reportedly had long-term interest in the 32-year-old Belgian, and will try to flex their financial muscle in a bid to attract the Man City star to the Middle East.
Since his move to Man City from Wolfsburg in 2015, De Bruyne has been a revelation for the club, helping them to five Premier League titles as well as multiple FA Cups and League Cups.

Let’s not forget their historic treble win which included the Champions League in the 2022/23 campaign.
Despite his talents, de Bruyne, like all Man City players, has his future unguaranteed, as Guardiola has shown over and over again that he is unafraid of losing a superstar.
De Bruyne to Saudi?
Here is what Galetti shared on X on Tuesday, April 23:
“Al Nassr remain interested in De Bruyne for the summer.”
“The Saudi negotiator - with club's representatives - will contact again the player in the coming weeks. It cannot be ruled out that other teams will decide to join the race for Kevin before June.”
With de Bruyne’s current contract expiring in 2025, City could be at a disadvantage in the event Saudi clubs start to knock on their Belgian’s door.
One subplot of the former Chelsea star’s potential move to Saudi is the possibility of linking up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Eden Hazard: What Belgian superstar said about Mohamed Salah in 2019
FootballA combination of one of the best marksmen in the history of the sport with a player who is master at assisting goals is certainly going to be devastating for opponents.
And interestingly, De Bruyne once spoke on the possibility of playing alongside a forward of Ronaldo’s stature.
When asked the legendary strikers he would have loved to play with, De Bruyne said, per The Mirror:
Maybe somebody like Thierry Henry, or even somebody like Cristiano.
"For me, a creative player, he's going to be there.
"I could probably put it [a cross] about three metres high and he (Ronaldo) is still going to get it anyway!" he said. "So that's going to make my assists go up!"
Foden omits de Bruyne
Sports Brief earlier reported on Phil Foden’s Premier League all time XI which featured Cristiano but lacked De Bruyne.
The 23-year old has been in stellar form this season, enjoying one of his best ever campaigns across all competitions.
For his picks, Foden included five Manchester City stars from the past and present.
