Former Liverpool star, Sadio Mane, has reacted after leading Al-Nassr to victory over Al Fahya in the Saudi Profession League in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese veteran missed the tie due to his red card in Al-Nassr's loss to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup.

With Ronaldo ruled out of the game, all focus was on Mane, and the Senegalese winger didn't disappoint the Knights of Najd faithful.

The Senegal international scored a brace to lead Luis Castro's men to a 3-1 win over Al Fahya at the Al-Awwal Park on Friday, April 19.

After the game, Mane disclosed how his team won despite starting the match badly.

"We tried to work as a cohesive team, scored goals and won," the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations winner said.

In a video shared on social media, the former Bayern Munich forward confirmed that the match was tough, but they made sure they did the important thing, which was taking all three points.

"Hi guys, tough game today, but at the end of the day we won that was the most important thing, thank you & keep supporting and see you soon," he added.

According to a report by Soccerway, Al-Nassr's next game in the Saudi League will be against Al Khaleej next weekend.

Mane scores solo goal in Al-Nassr's win

Sports Brief earlier reported on Sadio Mane scoring a superb solo goal in Al-Nassr's win over Al Fahya at the Al-Awwal Park.

In a viral video shared on social media, the Senegalese winger was seen dribbling past three Al Fayha players before hitting a powerful shot in between Vladimir Stojkovic's legs in the 82nd minute.

The former Bayern Munich star's strike stirred different reactions from fans on social media.
