Kate Abdo’s boyfriend, Malik Scott, finally met up with Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, weeks after the retired defender questioned Abdo’s loyalty live on air.
Carragher courted controversy when he sensationally said “not to Malik” after Abdo declared she was too loyal to wear an Arsenal shirt during a pre-match segment at the Emirates as the Gunners prepared to take on FC Porto.
Malik spoke on the matter in a podcast, vowing to ‘show up in a physical manner’ if Carragher failed to take his call.
While there was a general feeling from fans that Malik, a former boxer’s statement was a subtle threat to Abdo’s colleague, all seems to be well as the duo linked up for dinner recently.

According to The Mirror, Carragher was part of the CBS team who joined Malik and Abdo for dinner, hours before their live broadcast.
The boxing trainer shared an image of himself alongside the CBS pundits with the caption, "Pre-Game Meal with The Best Panel in sports.”
Interestingly, Malik tagged all the people in the frame, including Thierry Henry and Micah Richards, but made a gaffe which was picked up by hawk-eyed fans.
It was noted that while Henry was tagged, it was not the Arsenal legend’s real account as he is not active on Instagram.
What Kate Abdo said
Earlier this week, Abdo opened up about Carragher’s sentiments and how it made her feel.
The veteran sports journalist clarified that her boyfriend never wanted to fight Carragher, and his statement was blown out of proportion a bit.

She added: "I think the headlines that [said] 'I'll turn up in physical fashion' - that was a little overstated. But Malik is so secure as a person. Nothing rattles him."
