Man City holds an undefeated home record against the 14-time European champions, but Los Blancos would rely on their seasoned experience and prestigious history in the competition, per All Football.

As the pivotal second leg approaches in Manchester, a video currently circulating on social media has captured the attention of football enthusiasts.

In the footage, as spotted by Sports Brief, several of Real Madrid's key players purposefully skirted around the Manchester City crest ahead of the game.

According to GOAL, the players made their way to the training ground without stepping on the logo on the floor, adding an intriguing dimension to the buildup of the crucial fixture.

How fans reacted

@The_Libero_Fut insisted the players walk around the pitch was born out of respect:

"Real Madrid is a classy club and has always been a classy club. It’s about respect."

@Makasana22 propounded a school of thought:

"Trying to get sympathy from Pep and his boys. Nah! It won't work. We will be there tonight."

On the other hand, @LukeAshworth5, was not enthused with the dilly-dally from the Real Madrid players:

"I mean, it's literally on the floor right in front of the door. Just stand on it, you weirdos. It's a bit of carpet."

@NotoriousBAG_ slammed the players' choice, describing it as:

"Woke nonsense."

@jamthegoat1 added:

"Cringe."

Bellingham sends significant message to City

Sports Brief also reported that Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham had a message for Manchester City ahead of their upcoming UEFA Champions League clash.

Despite being labelled as the underdogs by bookmakers, the Spanish giants and record UCL winners remain steadfast in their belief in overcoming all the odds.

Bellingham addressed those doubting Madrid ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg, highlighting the club's long history in the competition.
