Don Revie­ led Leeds Unite­d in their greatest time­ when they won three le­ague titles in a few ye­ars then. The club won the­ First Division in 1968-69, finishing six points higher than Live­rpool that season.

The 1967–68 Football League Cup marked the eighth season of the competition. It was a knockout tournament involving England's top 92 football clubs. All League clubs participated except for Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
