Arsene Wenger has predicted who between Bayern Munich and Arsenal will win when the two teams lock horns in their Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday night.

The two teams settled for an entertaining 2-2 draw during their first leg meeting of the fixture played at the Emirates Stadium last week.

Metro UK reports that Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard were on target for Arsenal at the time, with Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane finding the back of the net for the visitors.

The result threw the last eight fixture wide open, meaning there will be everything to play for when they face off again in the return leg in Germany.

The match comes at a time when the Gunners will be looking to bounce back to winning ways, having been dealt a huge blow in the Premier League title race after they suffered a 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa over the weekend.

On their part, Bayern have their eyes fully on the Champions League after they lost the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.

Wenger predicts Bayern vs Arsenal clash

Former Arsenal boss Wenger has now weighed in on who could win the predictably tough Champions League tie when the two European teams meet on Wednesday night.

According to the legendary Frenchman tactician, his former side are the favourites to progress to the semis of the Champions League.

"Arsenal against Bayern Munich is a 50-50 game. Bayern have recently been vulnerable at home in the Bundesliga, they lost to Dortmund in a very important game so they will not be 100% confident," Wenger told beIN SPORTS.
"I still think Arsenal might just glide through against Bayern," he concluded.

Arsenal urged to sign Osimhen

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on former Somali national team head coach, Said Abdi Haibeh, inadvertently urging Arsenal to sign Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian attacker has widely been linked with a move to the Premier League.
