Cole Palmer is the man of the moment for Chelsea.

He scored yet another hat-trick for the Blues, recording four goals against Everton in their Premier League clash on Monday night.

That didn't stop Malo Gusto from trolling Chelsea's newest sensation, calling Palmer boring in a social media comment.

He made the quip after the 21-year-old Englishman celebrated his scoring outburst against the Toffees. Palmer wrote, "Perfect night. X4," with four football emojis at the end of his comment.

Gusto was quick to poke fun at his teammate, replying, "you're boring man" to Palmer.

The Blues duo also had a funny exchange after the Everton game, with Palmer seen offering his match ball to Gusto, who quickly rejected it.

Palmer may be boring, but he is also lethal. He grabbed a share of the lead in the Premier League Golden Boot race following his four-goal outing against Everton.

It was a night of records for Palmer, who bagged a hat-trick in back-to-back games at Stamford Bridge.

He also entertained the fans in their last home game against Manchester United, scoring a treble in their 4-3 victory over the Red Devils.

He showed his flair for the dramatic in that contest, scoring two late goals in the 10th and 11th minutes of added time in the second half, per The Guardian.

There was no need for late drama in the win against Everton, but he did score his hat-trick in style.

He became the newest member of the perfect hat-trick club in the Premier League, scoring with his left foot, right foot, and head in the win against the Toffees.

Palmer is Chelsea's penalty taker

Chelsea's win against Everton was marred by unnecessary penalty drama in the second half.

Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke tried to steal penalty duties away from Palmer, showing signs of immaturity in the process.

Palmer eventually pulled rank, taking the ball and making his ninth penalty of the season.
