According to SPORTbible, Palmer was the man of the moment during the meeting, with the Englishman scoring four of the six goals.

The former Manchester City ace opened the scoring for the home side in the 13th minute before he doubled the advantage five minutes later.

Palmer made it 3-0 before the half-hour mark, with Jackson putting the game to bed moments before the break.

The second half of the match was marked with an embarrassing incident involving Palmer, Jackson, and Noni Madueke - with the trio appearing to fight over a penalty.

Caicedo spotted 'lecturing' Jackson

A video of Caicedo seemingly lecturing Jackson over his conduct during the incident has now emerged.

In the clip, Caicedo appears to berate the forward for his involvement in the penalty drama.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino has since commented on the incident, with the Chelsea boss calling out his charges for their embarrassing conduct.

The Argentine tactician went on to make it clear that Palmer is Chelsea's designated penalty-taker.

"It is a shame. We cannot behave in this way, I told them 'This is the last time of this behaviour'," Poch said.
"It is impossible to have this type of behaviour after this performance," he added.

Palmer makes Chelsea history in Everton clash

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Palmer breaking an incredible Chelsea record previously held by Didier Drogba and Eidur Gudjohnsen after a brilliant performance against Everton.

The Englishman has been in fantastic shape since he joined the Blues from rivals Manchester City in the summer of 2023.
