talkSPORT reports that Guardiola engaged the midfielder in an animated conversation shortly after the encounter, which ended in a drab draw.

Grealish was subbed on in the second half of the cracker but made little to no impact as the hosts struggled to break a stubborn Arsenal side.

Incidentally, this was not the first time the City boss was getting involved in such a moment with his players.

Jeremy Doku also had his ear bent moments before, with Pep's animated chat with Grealish going on a little longer.

Pep's moment with his players sparked a debate among fans and pundits, with some claiming he does it for the cameras.

Guardiola responds to his animated conversations

The former Bayern Munich boss was put on the spot during a presser on his antics, with the 53-year-old giving a sarcastic response on the subject.

"I do it for the cameras. For my ego. I'm the most famous person of the team. I need the cameras to go to sleep with incredible satisfaction," Guardiola ironically stated per SPORTbible.
"That's the reason why, always I try to criticize the player there and let them feel how bad they are," Guardiola ironically told reporters," he added.

Pep made the remarks ahead of City's Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Wednesday, April 3.

Guardiola's speech which inspired UCL glory

Earlier, Sports Brief also reported on a passionate half-time speech from Guardiola which inspired Man City to victory in the Champions League.

City beat Inter Milan in the final of the competition last season to lift the prestigious trophy.
