Manchester City finished matchday 32 on the top of the Premier League table after their dominant 5-1 win over newcomers Luton Town at the Etihad Stadium.

Fellow title challengers Arsenal and Liverpool failed to respond and return to the top as both fell to home defeats against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, respectively.

Sports Brief looks at the crucial games left that could decide the fate of the three teams.

Premier League title-deciding games

1. Tottenham Hotspur

All three teams left in the race have to play against Tottenham. City and Arsenal will go away, while Liverpool will host them at Anfield. Ange Postecoglou's men have a role to play in the title, and whoever drops points against them might regret it.

4. Everton Vs Liverpool

Playing a derby during a title run-in is tricky; it becomes more tricky if the opponent is a relegation team. That's the dilemma Jurgen Klopp's men will find themselves when they travel to Goodison Park. Per 11vs11, the Reds have not lost at the ground since 2010 and have had the upper hand in the Merseyside derby recently.

5. Arsenal Vs Chelsea

Two London derbies in five days, away at Tottenham and home to Chelsea, is not what Arsenal would have wished for in a title race. The Blues were the better side in the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, and only a late capitulation allowed Arsenal to get back into it. The West Londoners have had a hand in deciding many titles, and this could be one of them.

6. Man United Vs Arsenal

Per Mirror UK, this is a game the Gunners must not lose but are more likely to lose. A trip to Old Trafford is difficult for any team, regardless of United's form. Erik ten Hag's men still have a possible Europa League spot to fight for.

7. Aston Villa Vs Liverpool

You cannot talk about this fixture and not remember Klopp's 7-2 defeat at Villa Park in 2020. Unai Emery's men were beaten 3-0 in the first leg at Anfield and with the last spot in top four up for grabs against Tottenham, they'll fancy their chances at home.

Ferdinand rules Arsenal out of PL race

Sports Brief reported on Rio Ferdinand naming games that will cost Arsenal the title while predicting the outcome of the matches left for the title contenders.

The British pundit was confident that the Gunners' away trips to Tottenham and Old Trafford would result in defeats, but they failed at their first hurdle at home to Villa.
