Victor Boniface shared a special moment with Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso after Bayer Leverkusen's Bundesliga triumph.

The Nigeria forward scored his 11th Bundesliga goal of the season as Leverkusen ran riot over Werder Bremen at the Bay Arena to win the German title for the first time.

Alonso made history by becoming the first coach to achieve that incredible feat with the German club.

In celebrating the historic moment, the players and the coaches were spotted dancing and drinking in the dressing room.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Boniface is seen showering his manager with a jar of beer as they enjoyed the moment.

Alonso's men remain unbeaten throughout the current campaign with Sunday's 5-0 demolishing of Werder Bremen extending the run to 43 matches with defeat.

The new Bundesliga champions are on course for an unprecedented treble, having already booked a place in the final of the DFB Pokal and look to have a feat in the semi-final of the UEFA Europa League.

Meanwhile, Boniface has been instrumental to the team's success, scoring 18 goals and providing 9 assists in 27 matches, per Transfermarkt.

Boniface scores in Leverkusen's title win

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Nigeria forward, Victor Boniface made history after helping Bayer Leverkusen win their first-ever Bundesliga title in his first season in the German league.

The 23-year-old was on target for the second game running as Leverkusen defeated Werder Bremen to clinch the title with five games remaining.

Boniface opened the scoring from the spot after 25 minutes to give the host the lead before a strike from Granit Xhaka and a hat-trick from Florian Wirtz ensured Leverkusen are champions of Germany.

Boniface delighted after Bundesliga win

Sports Brief also reported that Victor Boniface shared his excitement after Bayer Leverkusen won their first-ever Bundesliga title following a 5-0 victory over Werder Bremen at the Bay Arena on Sunday.

The Super Eagles attacker opened the scoring after converting from the spot to hand his team a first-half lead before a second-half demolishing saw Leverkusen enter the history books.

A goal from former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka and a hat-trick from Florian Wirtz left the Bay Arena in pandemonium at the final whistle.
