  • Neymar is rehabilitating from the ACL injury he suffered last year
  • The Brazilian joined Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal from PSG last summer
  • Fans have reacted to what he was doing on his daughter's birthday

Neymar has plenty of time at his disposal due to currently undergoing rehabilitation from an ACL injury he suffered during the October international break with Brazil.

He joined the Saudi Arabia train last summer when he left Paris Saint-Germain after six years and signed for Pro League giants Al-Hilal for €90 million.

He had not settled into the team before the injury ruled him out of the season. He could possibly miss the Copa America 2024, a competition he has yet to win in his career.

Neymar spotted playing poker

Per AS, Neymar fathered a daughter, Mavie, with girlfriend Bruna Biancardi in October, his second child after 12-year-old Davi Luca, whom he birthed during his teenage years.

The pair split a month after the birth of the girl after allegations of infidelity against the footballer but reunited weeks later after some back and forth.

Mavie celebrated her six-month birthday days ago, and the former Barcelona star threw a party at his home. As a video recirculated on social media shows, the Brazilian was spotted playing poker on his phone.

The video is generating reaction from fans who are in disbelief that a top-level athlete handsomely remunerated with a salary of $219 million per year in Saudi could descend so low.

Illegal gambling is banned for professional athletes. Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali admitted poker was one of the games he gambled on before he was handed a 10-month ban.

It is unlikely that the Al-Hilal star will face any action for the incident as it does not relate to sports.

Fans slam Neymar for being overweight

Sportsdaughter's Brief previously reported on fans slamming Neymar for being overweight when he was seen at the birthday party of Brazilian legend, Romario.

The attacker is still rehabilitating from his cruciate ligament injury, which limited some of his fitness activities and made him fuller, which made fans speculate he's tired of football.
