FootballLiverpool had grand dreams of winning the quadruple after they defeated Chelsea in the final of the 2024 Carabao Cup last February.
The Reds crashed out of the FA Cup, however, losing in the quarter-finals to bitter rivals Manchester United in gut-wrenching fashion.
Liverpool squandered a 3-2 lead in extra time, conceding late goals to Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo to lose 4-3 at Old Trafford, per the BBC.
They have also dropped to second place in the Premier League table, trailing leaders Arsenal with seven matches remaining.

One Liverpool supporter was saddened by that performance from the Reds, writing on X that the last ever European night of the Klopp era at Anfield is going to be a 3-0 loss to Atalanta in the Europa League.
