Spanish authorities are reportedly conducting an inquiry into the bank accounts of ex-Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique, as part of an investigation into corruption allegations linked to Luis Rubiales.
Pique's financial records are said to be under scrutiny due to potential connections between Kosmos, the sports entertainment firm he owns, and Rubiales, the former Spanish FA president.
The ex-Spain football boss was previously arrested and later released upon re-entry into the country.
AS reports that there is an ongoing judicial investigation into the agreement he allegedly orchestrated, resulting in the Spanish Super Cup being held in Saudi Arabia.

A representative from Kosmos stated no company personnel have been arrested or subjected to investigation, and no premises have been subjected to searches.
The firm, established by Pique, gained prominence through its collaboration with the Davis Cup, spanning from 2018 to 2023, despite an initial agreement slated for 25 years.
When questioned about the legitimacy of his income, Rubiales has previously remarked via GOAL:
"I'm unaware of the judge's pronouncements or the Civil Guard's inquiries. The funds in my bank account are the product of my labour and personal savings."
The corruption case involving Rubiales is expected to continue, but Pique's involvement remains undetermined as the investigation is ongoing.
