All the major leagues in the world are headed for the international break this weekend, meaning there won't be action in a number of divisions like the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, and the French Ligue 1.

While most football fans frown on the international break, the period does offer some an opportunity to continue watching their favourite football stars turn out for their respective countries.

A number of these countries are privileged to have some of the top football stars within their ranks, making them competitive on the global stage.

According to Planet Football, England, France, and Portugal are some of the countries with the most valuable teams in the world.

In fact, the value of the squad for the three countries is over €1 billion each.

To put this into perspective, Manchester City, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain are the only four clubs that boast of squads with a similar value.

England, for instance, boasts a number of some of the world's best players, including Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and Phil Foden.

In the France camp, we have the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Aurelien Tchouameni, Jules Kounde, and Presnel Kimpembe.

10. Belgium - Estimated market value: £461.88m

Boasting some of the world's most talented footballers, Belgium has become a dominant force in international football.

Players like Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku have long been at the forefront of the national team's success.

Currently, Manchester City ace Jeremy Doku leads the pack in terms of player value at a staggering £55.52 million.

Germany's legacy in international football is undeniable.

With four World Cup titles to their name, the European football powerhouse has consistently been a force to be reckoned with.

While some believe their peak years might be over, young talent like Jamal Musiala are making a name for themselves in the space.

Musiala is valued at a whopping £94.82 million.

The Netherlands have been dominant in the world of football, having produced some top talents over the years.

The reigning world champions have a value of £621.53m, with Lautaro Martinez the most valuable player.

France are one of the only two teams whose worth is more than £1billion.

Their talisman Kylian Mbappe is the most valuable player with a worth of £153.74 million.

Finally on this list is England.

The Gareth Southgate-tutored team has a mix of a golden generation of young talent, who include the likes of Phil Foden and Declan Rice, making them the most valuable team in world football.
