Nigerian striker, Philip Otele, is attracting interest from some of the top European clubs including reigning Serie A champions, Napoli, ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old attacker has been in scintillating form for Romanian club, CFR Cluj, where he has netted 13 goals and contributed seven assists in the league this season so far.
According to Complete Sports, Napoli, who are bracing up for the exit of Victor Osimhen, have identified Otele as one of their transfer targets in the summer.
However, the Italian giants will have to battle Premier League club, Brentford, and Belgian giants, Club Brugge, for the signature of the 24-year-old Nigerian, who is touted for a big move at the end of the season.

Born in Port Harcourt, Otele was educated in England where he played for Teesside University and Wolviston FC in the Wearside Football League before joining Kauno Zalgiris in 2021.

Meanwhile, Otele has been compared to legendary Nigerian striker, Rashidi Yekini, owing to his exquisite goal-scoring attributes which earned him interest from top teams, Busy Buddies reports.
The 24-year-old forward’s predatory instinct in front of the goal has seen him grab the headlines this season for CFR Cluj, where he is one of the Romanian league’s top scorers with 13 goals.
For now, Otele is focused on finishing the season well with his club, who are presently third in the league's playoffs, as they hope to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
