Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been all over social media after changing his hairstyle before West Ham United's game against Newcastle United.

The 23-year-old arrived at St James' Park spotting a new look, with a dreadlocks inspired fit.

Kudus, again, was in superb form for the Hammers, scoring and providing an assist in the 4-3 defeat to the Magpies.

In a video that has been trending on social media, Kudus is seen undergoing his new hair transformation as his barber gives him a clean shave.

Before the change of hair, the attacking midfielder often got a short haircut or kept his dreads at a normal level.

Meanwhile, the Ghana international will now switch his attention to the Europa League quarter-final against Beyer Leverkusen on Thursday after Saturday's disappointment.

His goal against Newcastle United was his thirteenth strike for the Hammers since joining the club from Ajax in the summer transfer window, making him the Ghanaian player with the most goals at West Ham, as reported by Modern Ghana.

Kudus is already attracting interest from rival clubs in the Premier League with Arsenal and Manchester United reported to be preparing a move for the midfielder.

Kudus prevented from iconic celebration

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mohammed Kudus was stopped from hitting his iconic celebration after Newcastle United's ball boy refused to give him his seat.

Kudus gave West Ham United the lead at the St James Park moments before half time, but the Magpies produced a strong second-half performance to beat the Hammers.

Having gone down to an early lead through Alexander Isak from the spot, West Ham quickly recovered as Michail Antonio pulled levelled in the 21st minute.

Kudus breaks Andre Ayew's record

Sports Brief also reported that Mohammed Kudus broke Andre Ayew's record as the Ghanaian with the most goals at West Ham United with his strike against Newcastle United.

Kudus gave West Ham the lead just before half-time after Michail Antonio had cancelled out an early Alexander Isak strike.

However, the St James' outfit produced a strong second-half performance to beat West Ham United.
