Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his brilliance with a sensational second-half hat-trick, propelling Al-Nassr to a commanding 5-1 victory over Al Taee in the Saudi Pro League clash on Saturday, March 30.

Despite a challenging run with Portugal in the recent international friendlies, Ronaldo put his struggles aside and delivered a stellar performance, finding the net three times.

Ronaldo inspires Al-Nassr to a thumping win

Al-Nassr, determined to bounce back after their hopes of a Saudi championship waned, started the match aggressively, dominating possession but initially failing to break the deadlock.

Their persistence paid off when Otavio's cross-shot found the back of the net fortuitously in the 20th minute, sparking cheers from the home crowd.

However, the joy was short-lived as Dutch forward Virgil Misidjan capitalised on defensive lapses to equalise just two minutes later.

The tide turned in Al-Nassr's favour when Misidjan received a red card in the 36th minute, providing a lifeline for the home side.

Ghareeb then capitalised on the momentum, slotting home a goal from a Sadio Mane cross in stoppage time of the first half.

Buoyed by Ghareeb's strike, Luis Castro's team emerged revitalized in the second half.

Ronaldo seized the opportunity, connecting with another Mane cross to half-volley home and extending the lead in the 65th minute. Just two minutes later, he doubled his tally, further widening the gap between the two teams.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner completed his hat-trick with a clinical finish, sealing a comprehensive victory for the Knights of Najd.
