Speaking about his career after the last round of international friendlies, he was asked whether it all felt like a dream, Madrid Universal reported.
“Yeah, I do feel like that sometimes. I wake up, and I have to pinch myself when I’m playing for England at Wembley or playing for Real Madrid at the Bernabéu,” he said.
The attacking midfielder was also asked about what he would like to achieve in his career, and how he would measure whether he was successful, to which he replied that he wanted to win trophies.
