Ronwen Williams and Themba Zwane chartered a private jet, hours after South Africa's draw against Algeria in a friendly match.

Zwane was on fire against the Desert Foxes. He scored a brace in the 3-3 draw, while Williams made an error that led to Algeria's second goal.

It was a good outing for the experienced Bafana Bafana stars who helped their country reach the semi-final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Zwane bagged a brace in the first half to give Hugo Broos' side a 2-1 lead. Williams' error saw Algeria equalize early in the second half. They took a 3-2 lead, but the hosts responded as the match ended in a stalemate.

On Wednesday, March 27, Williams and Zwane were spotted flying in a private jet, probably to Tanzania for Mamelodi Sundowns' CAF Champions League match against Young Africans.

Williams posted photos of himself and Zwane on his Instagram stories. Both of them were holding John Maxwell's The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader book.

Sundowns visit Yanga on Saturday, March 30, for their first-leg, quarter-final clash at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, per Far Post.

Williams and Zwane are expected to play in that huge match as they seek to add another African crown to their cabinet.

Williams defends Broos

Sports Brief earlier reported on Williams defending Hugo Broos for heavily rotating his squad against Andorra in their friendly last week.

Most of the experienced faces were on the bench as Broos gave fringe players a chance to impress against the 164th-ranked nation.

Williams take on Sundowns' success

Sports Brief also reported on Williams dismissing claims that Sundowns have bought their success.

The Bafana Bafana captain said his team put so much work into being one of the best teams on the continent.

Rulani Mokwena's side are heading for their seventh straight league title. They are putting together a historic season.
