Ronaldo’s selfie moment
It was a frustrating evening for Ronaldo, but the Al-Nassr forward still showed his class with a delightful moment involving a pitch invader.
It is not uncommon to see fans taking their chances to storm the pitch in a bid to meet their idols, and this was the case on Tuesday as a daring spectator ran up to Ronaldo to attempt to take a selfie with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Rather than dismissing the fan, Ronaldo accorded him a few seconds as the pair posed for a photo, to the amusement of the referee and Portugal defender Pepe.
The incident took place in the 42nd minute when the scores were deadlocked at 0-0.
What next for Cristiano Ronaldo?
Portugal have already qualified for Euro 2024, so the defeat to Slovenia will not bother Ronaldo too much.
