Amid the excitement surrounding the fixture, Nigeria's coach, Finidi George, has dropped a subtle hint about his tactical approach for the clash against Ghana.

Finidi speaks on tactics

While not divulging too many details, coach Finidi stated:

"For tactics, we are not changing much, just adding elements to help the players conserve energy. We will focus on tactical play and aim to regain possession quickly. I believe this approach will be effective."

These comments from the former Real Betis winger add further intrigue to the upcoming clash against Ghana.

Earlier reports had suggested the manager was making significant adjustments to the tactical set-up of the team, contrasting with their performance at the AFCON.

Nonetheless, while Coach Finidi's exact plans remain somewhat unclear, his remarks have certainly sparked curiosity among fans and stakeholders eager to see how the Nigerian team will perform in their first match post-Jose Peseiro.

In another report, Sports Brief highlighted that Super Eagles coach, Finidi, has warned Ghana in anticipation of their clash with Nigeria.

The 52-year-old hinted at a fiercely contested fixture, emphasising there would be no room for friendliness when they meet in Morocco.

The former Real Betis star also highlighted the importance of securing victory in the upcoming clash, as he tries to impress the NFF.
