FootballNigeria vs Ghana: Otto Addo Breaks Down How Black Stars Can Hurt Super Eagles
- The Super Eagles will renew their long-standing rivalry with Ghana on Friday
- It will be the first meeting between Nigeria and the Black Stars since 2022
- Coach Otto Addo already knows the tactics to use against the Super Eagles
Ghana coach, Otto Addo, is confident the Black Stars can exploit the Super Eagles’ weakness when both teams clash in an international friendly on Friday, March 22, in Morocco.
Ghana and Nigeria will renew their rivalry at the Stade de Marrakech, the first meeting between the pair after the Black Stars edged Nigeria in a 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Abuja.
According to All Nigeria Soccer, Addo who hailed the Super Eagles as a defensively compact team, disclosed that the Nigerian team can also be vulnerable and that is where the Black Stars will capitalise on.
"We expect them to be very hard to break against the ball but also with the ball, which you saw at the Africa Cup of Nations, they are really good in offensive transmissions, they have fast players on the wings, tall players upfront who can hold the ball no matter who comes, with a really, really solid back chain so it's going to be tough.
