Lescott spotted in Kenya
Not many people were aware of Lescott’s African tour, except a few loyal Manchester City fans.
Sports Brief has since established that the official Man City Kenya fanpage had hinted on Monday, March 18 that a ‘Manchester City legend’ would be gracing the nation’s capital.
This left room for a lot of guesses, especially since City are usually taunted as a club that does not have any legends.
By Thursday, however, the secret was out as Lescott was spotted interacting with fans and children at the Kibera social ground in Nairobi.
Videos shared on the official Manchester City Kenya Instagram page shows the 41-year old jamming to an African beat with other locals. He also took some time to take selfies with a few fans.
Later, the local Manchester City fans gifted the former defender a gift hamper as they posed for photos.
