“I love football and I want to continue playing football. The mentality and pressure at Real Madrid is very different, you have to be on top,” he said as quoted on Madrid Universal.

“The ambition is to keep winning with Real Madrid, when you win here you want to keep achieving more. This is my thinking,”

While the Croatian’s future is the subject of mass speculation, there is no telling where his career will go next.

His focus at the moment is ensuring his club has a strong end to the season, while also trying to keep fit enough to represent his nation in the upcoming European championships.

Modric has played for three professional clubs: Dinamo Zagreb, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid.
