  • Florentino Perez is reportedly ready to hold talks with Alejandro Garnacho
  • Garnacho is said to have caught the attention of Perez with his good displays
  • The Argentine winger has scored five goals in the Premier League this season

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez reportedly has intentions to pursue a future signing of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.

Garnacho has prior experience in the city, having represented Atletico Madrid during his youth days from 2015 to 2020.

However, the 19-year-old has devoted his entire senior career to Old Trafford, establishing himself as a crucial player for the Red Devils.

A total of 12 goals and nine assists have been contributed from 74 appearances in all competitions, including five strikes and three assists coming during this season's Premier League, per Sports Mole.

Regardless of whether Erik ten Hag remains at the helm, there is the perception that the Argentina international is regarded as a long-term fixture in the squad.

That is partly due to Garnacho having penned a contract extension as recently as last April, tying him to the Red Devils until the end of the 2027-28 campaign.

However, given his upward trajectory in development, Garnacho is inevitably going to be associated with a potential transfer to another elite European club in the future.

Perez to meet Garnacho in April?

Football 365 reports that Perez envisions Garnacho joining Real Madrid once he enters his twenties.

The report suggests that the 77-year-old and other Los Blancos officials have been closely monitoring the winger's performances, with the intention of pursuing his signature in one of the upcoming transfer windows.

It is said that Perez is eager to have a discussion with Garnacho when Real Madrid visit Manchester for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie next month.

Meanwhile, it's improbable that the 14-time European champions will make an immediate move, as their current priority is focused on acquiring the services of Kylian Mbappe.

Garnacho hits Ronaldo's 'Siuu' celebration

Sports Brief previously reported that Alejandro Garnacho honoured Cristiano Ronaldo by scoring a stunning overhead kick against Everton.

Back in October 2022, the Argentinian openly expressed his dream of playing alongside the veteran striker during a Man United match.

Garnacho displayed his admiration for the Al-Nassr star by mimicking Ronaldo's iconic 'Siuu' celebration to mark his breathtaking strike.
