Joao Felix has delivered a powerful message to Atletico Madrid fans by scoring in Barcelona's 3-0 victory against his parent club.
Just like he did back in December at the Montjuic Stadium, the Portuguese found the net against his parent club once more in Barcelona's convincing 3-0 away win on Sunday night.
Before the game, Atletico supporters set fire to a replica of his shirt and spat on Felix's plaque outside the stadium, clearly expressing their sentiments toward the forward.
Nevertheless, Felix maintains that he is not the "villain" in the situation and asserts that fans may not fully understand the circumstances of his time at Atletico.

Despite being aware that many fervent supporters of the Rojiblancos harbour negative feelings towards him, Felix emphasised that his relationships with former teammates remain amicable.
“As I said before, the fans in the stands do not know the things that happened here during the time I’ve been here,” he said via Football Espana.
“What they say from the outside is that I get along poorly with my former teammates, and that’s not true, as you could see I was just now talking with Samuel [Lino] and Lemar, and everyone who passed by hugged me, came to talk to me and asked how I was, my family, and everything else, so you can see that I have nothing against them and they have nothing against me.
“The fans don’t know what happened here inside, I perfectly understand their reactions, but I shouldn’t be seen as the bad guy in this situation.”

FootballFelix didn't improve his situation by expressing his desire to play for Barcelona while still under contract with Atletico.
Consequently, the forward was loaned to Xavi's side but appears likely to return to Atletico in the summer.
Barcelona wants Felix permanently
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Joao Felix’s dream move to Barcelona could become permanent as the Catalan club decided to sign Portugal forward from Atletico Madrid next summer.
The 24-year-old forward, who joined the reigning La Liga champions on loan this summer, has become one of Barcelona’s key players under Xavi Hernandes this season.
Atletico Madrid wants between €70 and €80 million for Felix, which is way more than La Blaugrana’s evaluation of the forward as they plan to make an offer of €30 to €40 million for the former Benfica starlet.
