Ghanaian forward, Antoine Semenyo, is in good form heading to the Black Stars' upcoming friendly match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Marrakech, Morocco.

The Bournemouth star led the Cherries to a 4-3 comeback win over Luton Town in the English Premier League on Wednesday evening (March 13).

The former Bristol City star scored a second-half brace as Bournemouth fought from three goals down to seal all three points at the Vitality Stadium.

In an interview with afcbTV, Semenyo spoke about his two goals in the game and shared his thoughts on the dramatic win over Luton Town.

"Tired, excited for the team, and it is a great game to be involved in and great to get a win," he said.
"Playing out there is a great position, but coming inside and going outside confuses the defenders; they don't know what foot I am; it helps me."

Ahead of the friendly game against the Super Eagles, the Ghanaian winger has disclosed his ambition of winning against the three-time African champions, and he's looking forward to facing them after a disappointing outing at the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

"I got a job to do with Ghana, and hopefully, we can get some wins there and also come back and get more wins. I am looking forward to the next game going back there," he added.

Nwabali declared fit for Ghana friendly game

Sports Brief earlier reported that Chippa United goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has been declared fit for the Super Eagles' upcoming friendly games against Ghana and Mali.

The Nigerian international suffered an injury scare after he picked up a knock and was substituted in the DStv Premier League game against Mamelodi Sundowns while in goal for Chippa United.

The Super Eagles will face their West African counterparts in Morocco later this month.
