He offered no excuses for the defeat, attributing it to a misjudgment of their opponent's capabilities.

"From what I could see from my players' body language, you could tell they underrated the opponent. I have lost the match that I thought we could have won," he said, as reported by Pulse Sports.

Reflecting on the match, the manager lamented missed opportunities but remained optimistic about prospects, acknowledging the valuable lessons from the setback.

In league action, Talanta drew 1-1 with Kariobangi Sharks in a hard-fought encounter at Police Sacco Stadium on Sunday, February 18, as reported by the Citizen.
