Chiefs started the game on the front foot as Ashley du Preez netted the opener as early as the 4th minute.

Upon return from the tunnel, Pirates looked more desperate and they drew level in the 58th minute after Thabiso Lebitso found the back of the net.
It was Monnapule Saleng who also completed his brace to seal the win for Pirates who have now done a league double over their arch-rivals this season.
As soon as the referee sounded the final whistle, an agitated Petersen was then seen shouting at Johnson.
He was captured looking furious as he angrily spoke with the interim coach. The defeat leaves Chiefs in seventh position on the log as they continue to struggle this season.
They are heading for yet another trophy-less season, having crashed out of the Nedbank Cup earlier.
GOAL reports that Amakhosi are now under pressure as they have to win their next match to avoid going down to the middle of the log.

FootballDoctor Khumalo blames Cavin Johnson
Sports Brief earlier reported that Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo blamed the Glamour Boys interim coach Cavin Johnson for the club's defeat against Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby.
The AmaKhosi failed to get a positive result in their two meetings against the Bucs in the Premier Soccer League this season.
Khumalo criticised Johnson and his technical team for being unable to manage the game properly.
